On Saturday, 8th June 2024, the Portuguese community in Bahrain gathered at the Slice Restaurant, Royal Riffa Golf Club, to celebrate their National Day. The event, held at 19:30 pm, was graced by the presence of diplomats, senior officials, businessmen, and community members.
Organized by Hon. Capt. Ameen and Mrs. Benedita Budagher, the celebration featured a cake-cutting ceremony followed by a dinner, fostering a sense of unity and cultural pride among attendees. This gathering not only highlighted the rich heritage of Portugal but also strengthened the bonds within the Portuguese community in Bahrain.
