Manama: The Philippine Embassy in Bahrain, in collaboration with Filipino Creatives Bahrain, has proudly inaugurated the “Kulay ng Kalayaan” art exhibition, a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity. This special event commemorates the 126th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence on June 12, 2024, and stands as a testament to the unity and artistic talent of the Filipino community in Bahrain.
The exhibition’s grand opening was attended by several distinguished guests, including the Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E. Anne Jalando-on Louis, and her spouse, Dr. D. Gerard Joseph Louis. Ambassador Louis, Dr. Louis, and members of Filipino Creatives Bahrain warmly welcomed the attendees and provided a guided tour of the exhibition, showcasing the remarkable works of Filipino artists in Bahrain.
Notable VIP guests included Yusuf Lori, Director of Information & Follow-Up at the Capital Governorate; Philipp Economou, General Manager of the InterContinental Hotel; Ric Advincula, President of the Filipino Club; and representatives from various community groups in Bahrain. Their presence underscored the importance of cultural exchange and community solidarity.
