The Bahrain based Smile Initiative, in cooperation with Gulf Finance House (GFH) hosted a fundraising event “Let’s Fly Kites”, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on May 3rd 2015. The event was in support of the society’s Abjad Program.
The Smile Initiative was established under the umbrella of The Future Youth Society and the programme provides teaching services and support to children with cancer. The beach-side event had small kites for sale with all proceeds going to the charity. It was a family event offering free refreshments, cakes and many games with prizes for the kids.
